Dievas Avant Garde Prototype(AGP) is the latest addition to the Dievas range of mechanical watches.
Dievas AGP is a top of the range watch with high tech watch manufacturing and finishing. Limited to only 50 pieces worldwide, Dievas AGP is highly sought after by collectors and gives a new meaning to the word Limited Edition. Each watch is individually engraved on the caseback with its unique serial number by our watchmaker after the completion of each and every watch. And because of that every watch is unique.
Dievas AGP's case, crown, tube, lugs, screws and buckle is treated by Plasma Assisted Chemical Vapour Deposition(PACVD) with a special material called Diamond Like Carbon(DLC). This special treatment is done specially for Dievas by a German company who specialize in the treatment for Formula One cars. The PACVD-DLC treated Dievas AGP has a hardness of 2400 Vickers (tested according to the ISO 14577 / DIN 50 359 Standards) which is about 17 times the hardness of 316L stainless steel which is 140 Vickers. Included with each watch is a hardness report with ISO 14577 / DIN 50 359 certification. PACVD-DLC is also highly resistant to chemical reaction. And because of that the Dievas AGP is highly resistant against sweat and acidic rain.
The contrasting dual layered black dial and hands against white luminous paint is simple and utilitarian.
Dievas AGP is powered by a Swiss Made Unitas 6497 mechanical movement. The movement has dot hammered finishing on the top plates. Further decorated with blued screws. With display back for owners to view the beautifully finished movement at work.
The 46.5mm PACVD-DLC treated case is micro-blasted to matte the surface giving it a gun-metal grey finishing. High polished PACVD-DLC removable 26mm wire lugs make changing straps simple. The domed sapphire crystal is coated with an anti-reflective coating on the inside. This enables time visibility from all angles. High polished PACVD-DLC 3mm diamond shaped crown ensures easy time setting even with gloves. The tube and stem of the crown system is also treated with PACVD-DLC. Low coefficient of friction properties of PACVD-DLC means the crown system will last longer and of course smoother winding.
Dievas Avant Garde Prototype comes with a matte 5mm thick genuine elephant hide strap with a PACVD-DLC knife edge buckle with MOD Dep. engraving on the underside.
All packed in a Dievas serial numbered wooden box lined with leather. Also included is an extra strap and screwdriver. Complete with papers, hang tag and 1 year Dievas international guarantee.
