WHAT IS 6STEELBLACK™

Dievas 6SteelBlack is the next phase of high tech watch case treatment by Dievas Watch Company. Foremost, the primary objective is to increase resistance to abrasion and scratches. In addition, it will come finished in a tactical off black color to set it apart from the common crowd. Like our original proprietary 6Steel case, 6SteelBlack is not merely a coating of foreign material. The whole stainless steel case is completely worked through.

Our premium 316L CNC watch case is heated in a mixture of carbon gases at precised low temperature to allow diffusion of atoms. This intricate process is duplicated over long hours to superimpose supersaturation and concentration of carbon.

The sudden immense energy from carbon atoms accumulation results in 30μm layered hardening of the case to 1300Hv on the Vickers scale(6 times the original hardness of normal stainless steel). The toughened case is then put into a special vacuum plasma chamber for further multilayering treatment(1800Hv), and results in a stealth black finish. The layering and compound hardening processes takes a minimal of 45 hours for each case and produce an extremely durable watch. Dievas 6SteelBlack case will be used widely in our tactical and military watch collection.
